we are always camping and setting up outdoor files to enjoy at night. it's so frustrating while you're trying to get things set up and started. this is an amazing hat not just because you're burning up the bag you carried your firewood in, but it acts as a windbreak in the early parts of getting your fire going when there's a breeze like there is around the shores of Lake Michigan where we are. what a great idea and I'm shocked I've never thought of it before or seen it before! I'm definitely going to do this the next time we're out camping, and my only addition will be a little hole in the side for a blow pipe so we can clear it up in a controlled way! thank you for this post!
