@tacugama: This is what hope looks like. On World Rainforest Day, we're taking you to one of the last intact patches of rainforest in the Western Area Peninsula National Park. Bordering Tacugama and protecting the Congo Dam water catchment, this forest is more than a stunning landscape. It is a sanctuary for wildlife, a source of clean water and a living reminder of what much of this peninsula once looked like. Look beyond the mountain and you'll see the reality much of the surrounding forest has disappeared. But today isn't about what we've lost. It's about what we can bring back. Every day, Tacugama works alongside communities to protect the forests that remain and restore those that have been lost.
