I had a Bayliner for many years and it was a great boat. Bayliner’s were somewhat affordable which made them great for families. Also bow riders are great for families too. So I just don’t get the hate for them. It’s like anything else if you take care of it and maintain it then you’re good.

Bayliner was our first boat. Kept it for like 5 or 6 years and never had any issue. Only sold because we wanted something bigger so now we have a StarCraft deck boat

Have a 2012 Bayliner 217 with the 4.3 since NEW and THANK GOD never had any major issues at all. Replaced the radio 4x already though…can’t figure that one out lol

91 bay liner capri $1800 16 years ago and she still runs great . Just winterize it and stay on top of maintenance

okay so the force engines were basically Chrysler engines that eventually were equipped with electronics from Mercury which made them far better. the mercruiser inboard outboards were good. but the biggest problem that made bayliner's crap was the fact that they did not fiberglass the floors. the undersides of the plywood and even the top sides in some areas were just gel coated. so when the carpet would get wet it would soak into the wood and make the floors soft that was the biggest problem with them

Your high. It the worst boat because the hulls are paper thin, floors rot, hardware is crap, not because it’s a bow rider. I have a Regal Bowrider. 2004 and still looks and runs new
