DAY 27 |THE WOMAN WHO CAN TOLERATE UNCERTAINTY. Renewal of the Mind Are you a woman asking, "What is mine to do today?" You are allowed to say: "I don't know yet." ●♥︎You don't have to know yet There is a particular kind of pressure many women carry. The pressure to understand. To explain. To decide. To know what something means. To know what someone meant. To know what will happen next. And when life becomes uncertain, the mind can become impatient. It starts filling the gaps. If she hasn't called, there must be a reason. If the opportunity hasn't come, perhaps I missed my season. If I don't know what to do next, perhaps I am lost. If I can not understand what God is doing, perhaps nothing is happening. But uncertainty is not always a problem to solve. Sometimes, it is simply a space you have not reached the end of yet. THE DANGER OF PREMATURE CERTAINTY When we can not tolerate not knowing, we often create an answer. Not necessarily because the answer is true. Because having an answer can feel safer than having a question. This is where fear can become remarkably creative. It fills silence with conclusions. It fills gaps with assumptions. It fills waiting with predictions. And once an assumption has been repeated enough, it can begin to feel like knowledge. But there is a difference between: I know. I think. I fear. I assume. I wonder. I don't know yet. A renewed mind learns to keep those categories separate. ▶️▶️▶️ That is wisdom. YOU ARE ALLOWED TO LEAVE SOME THINGS OPEN Not every unanswered question needs today's answer. You can love someone and still not know what their next decision will be. You can be faithful and still not know how everything will unfold. You can be in transition and not yet know what the next season will look like. You can have a concern without turning it into a conclusion. You can notice a pattern without deciding its final meaning. You can pray without demanding immediate certainty. ⏺️ There is maturity in leaving some things open while you gather wisdom. Sometimes the most faithful sentence you can say is: "I don't know yet, but I know what I can do today." THE GOAL The goal is not to know the whole road before you move. ➡️ The goal is to become wise enough to move with what you know, while remaining open to what you do not yet know. This woman, ✅️ does not rush to label every silence. ✅️She does not turn every delay into rejection. ✅️She does not turn every closed door into a prophecy about her future. ✅️She does not demand that every relationship, opportunity or season explain itself immediately. ✅️She understands that some things become clear through time. • Some through conversation. • Some through evidence. • Some through action. • Some through prayer. •• And some only become clear when she has walked far enough to see what the earlier part of the road could not show her. CLOSING She has learned something precious: Lack of information is not always negative information. TRUTH TO CARRY Sometimes you simply don't have enough information yet. And that is different from knowing that something is wrong. TODAY'S REFLECTION What am I trying to force myself to know before I have enough information, time, wisdom or peace to know it?
