S tier is the carrier infinity green speed and im a Trane dealer. Started selling those communication systems when they came out in 2003. You can make it any tons you want . In heating and cooling upto 5 tons

daikin and goodman are the same. their cabinets are cheaply made using very thin sheet metal. dont buy a daikin or a goodman. theres a reason warranty and stocking is good. youre gonna need it. Gree and Bosch are A and S tier systems. buy the gree flex rebranded by AC Pro. Great system. 4 ton is 19 seer2 for the price of a 15.1 seer 2 legacy branded system. bosch is king but very pricey.

let me guess you are a Daikin dealer? If you look at the breakdown index and consumer reports American standard is number one, Trane number two, Carrier number three and Lennox number four.

Problem with Trane is if homeowners install them just before they sell the home, new owner thinks yea! Got a great unit under warranty for a long time. But new owner only has 90 days to transfer the warranty or it is voided. That policy sucks!!!!

Goodman is straight garbage. Daikin are brutal to work on. You're right about Trane stocking issues, but they hold up well. Carrier is the Cadillac. They started inverter tech before anyone and perfected it. York is junk and Lennox is mid at best.
