I love this - I’ve lost 168lbs (the first time I’ve lost weight in my life), I’ve gone from 314lbs to 146lbs with 20lbs more to go and I’m planning on this being the only time I have to lose this weight

Realising that at the end of the day - it’s literally just maths made it SO much easier in my brain. Now in a little over a year I’ve lost 114 pounds and obvs while there’s more to go it just feel so EASY now because it’s just MATH. I can put whatever I want in the math and as long as it’s under maintenance - the weight will drop.

I'm exhausted though, long term deficit and MS fatigue is tough.

I have a question I have watched several of your videos on calorie deficit and I do understand starting off by eliminate the food noise & but I made the mistake of starting with 1500 cal before finding your page . I’m about day 35. Should I stick with it or should I go with my maintenance calories, which is about 2500.

One thing that helped me learn that ebbing and flowing was starting to lose weight right before summer. We've got parties and weekends away and birthdays. So I focus on my Whole Foods during the week when I don't have a party to go to, then I'm able to have a good time without fussing and worrying. It kind of put me through my paces early.

Okay wait. I lost 40 pounds and now I fluctuate between 118 and 123 and it drives me crazy. I go into a deficit to lose it and that 5 pounds is so noticeable but it’s like if I have one night out where I have a slice of pizza and a glass of wine I gain 5 pounds. My deficit is like 1000 calories because and it takes me about a week to get back. Is this normal? I work out 5x a week.
