As a former hoarder I can’t stand having things that are not needed. I don’t need to save birthday cards or stuffed animals from when I was a kid😂 it’s so freeing to finally be able to throw things away

Depends on what it is. I’m not tossing holiday decor I use every year. I’ve held onto furniture and household items that’s been how my adult kids have been able to furnish their apartments. Thankful I did because everything now is insanely more expensive.

We moved in to a neighborhood recently for the first time. Always lived in apartments and then family land. We are baffled by how no one has their cars in their garages. Their garages are open and just filled to them brim! I’ve been a minimalist for 2 years now and we also got rid of most of our possessions before moving in to this new home. So our garage is basically empty and we are able to park both cars in it. Everyone’s garages are stressing me out 😂😂
