I believe it sheds a more increasing light on the body image issues facing men, making it more of an all encompassing problem that was previously reserved within the zeitgeist for women exemplified in movies like the Devil Wears Prada. Perhaps the blurring or dissolvement of gender lines leads to a clearer picture of what's underneath the human condition of a never ending chase to perfected beauty aesthetics.
