stupid question but is a ficm like a ecu for a gas power vehicle. and I would if I was u put the dodge batterys in the Chevy and use the battery from it to buy new ones for the dodge that way u know all 4 are good that what I would do and what I'm planning to do when I do my alternator swap is to replace my battery

Had a very similar problem on my dad's truck. It ended up being the wiring harnesses for the ficm

You need batteries. It tried firing. These ficms are picky. They need the voltage and amps.

Definitely batteries my lly would crank and crank and crank charged batteries bc truck sat for a while and after I charged them been good ever sense

take the ficm apart and see if the capacitors are leaking on the inside

Check and see if you have a blown fuse for ficm when you had the bad computer on it it probably blew the fuse, causing it to not start with the good ficm

Swap batteries and hook the fuel lines up to the ficm like they’re supposed to be and mount it where it’s supposed to be

Check your fuel filter housing i had to change the whole filter housing on my lly because there was air getting in it somewhere.
