THEY’RE VANITY CARS. 95% of ppl who own these big shiny trucks don’t use them for anything trucks are actually meant to be used for. and for the people who do actually need trucks, smaller/older trucks are often better at the job, more efficient, more convenient, and actually end up having LARGER beds with more space in them than these vanity trucks

These huge trucks are genuinely absurd. My farm truck that I use almost every day is pretty big, but I've seen it dwarfed by some clean city trucks.

The culprit is vehicle size increasing due to manufacturers trying to get by with worse emissions. It's why vehicle size has steadily increased since the 2000's

I live in the uk and granted, we dont have many trucks here. the few ive seen that were american manufacturers are HUGE. I drive a tiny 2005 hatchback and it has tonnes of space inside, I dont get why people need such big vehicles nowadays
