@offenceregister: Ryan Johnston London Rapist Offender Following an investigation by the British Transport Police (BTP), Ryan Johnston, the HMP Thameside Rapist, a sadistic sexual offender who masturbated in front of two women before raping another while she was unconscious on the Piccadilly Line, was sentenced to prison for rape and sexual assault in 2023. Today, December 8, Inner London Crown Court sentenced Ryan Johnston, 37, of HMP Thameside, Greenwich, to nine years in prison. He was permanently registered on the Sex Offenders Register and given a Sexual Harm Prevention Order. On August 2, a jury at Inner London Crown Court found him guilty of one count of rape, one count of attempted rape, two acts of sexual assault, and one act of outraging public decency. This led to his punishment. Two women got off the Piccadilly Line at Bounds Green Underground station on Sunday, February 23, 2020, at around 4:45 AM. Outside a residence, a man was seen masturbating while looking through the window with his trousers around his ankles. The women ran away in fear, and Ryan Johnston yelled at them before chasing them down the street to their home. Luckily, they made it inside and hid behind a stairwell as Ryan Johnston hammered on their door, reached through the letterbox, and finally left. Ryan Johnston boarded a Piccadilly Line train at Heathrow Terminal Five three hours later. He moved confidently through the carriage and came up to a sleeping young lady. After abusing her sexually, he raped her while she was unconscious. Later that morning, a traveller and his little kid reported their views to the police after seeing the terrible tragedy. Despite extensive investigations, officials were unable to identify the victim or any other reports that had been filed with the police, and the crime was not captured on CCTV. Ryan Johnston was identified two years later after a BTP examination of past rape cases. In December 2022, he was apprehended at HMP Brixton, where he was incarcerated for burglary. Detectives identified the victim in the same month after conducting more investigations, but they were unaware of the full scope of what had happened to her. At the time, she was only twenty years old. #RyanJohnston #HMPThameside #HMPThamesideRapist #london #HMPBrixton
