@offenceregister: Raif Mentesh Carlisle Paedophile Sex Offender Raif Mentesh, the Carlisle Paedophile, received a prison term for rape and sexual assault of a juvenile. At Carlisle Crown Court, Raif Mentesh, 45, of Dowbeck Road, Carlisle, was sentenced to 14 years in jail. Raif Mentesh has been subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order and must register with the police indefinitely. Prior to 2024, this crime was committed against a single victim. "If you are a child or young person who has been the victim of sexual offences, please inform someone and report this to the police so that we can conduct an investigation," said Cumberland CID Detective Constable Linzi Wilkinson. As evidenced in today's instance, we take reports of this kind very seriously and will do everything in our power to ensure that violators are held accountable.
