@offenceregister: James Bodenham London Paedophile Offender James Bodenham, the paedophile child molester who was previously given an eight-and-a-half-year term for child rape, gets imprisoned again for failing to sign up for the sex offenders list. James Bodenham, 26, sexually assaulted an 11-year-old girl he had met in Addiscombe in March of 2014. When the victim did not return from a visit to a relative on March 1, her parents called the police. Soon after, in a state of panic, she went home and told detectives that a man she had met earlier that day had sexually assaulted her. Detectives found a man who fit the girl's description on CCTV footage and shared the picture with local police officers. One of them recognised James Bodenham as a biker he had stopped weeks earlier. When James Bodenham was arrested on March 19 at his home, the clothing that the girl's attacker was wearing was seized by the police. He was charged with two counts of rape following the analysis of DNA samples. He was sentenced to eight and a half years in prison at the Old Bailey after admitting guilt to one charge and having the other recorded as a lie. On March 1, 2023, 36-year-old James Bodenham was released from prison after serving out his entire sentence. But within three days of his release, he failed to show up at a police station to register as a sexual offender. He was caught in Lambeth on November 8 with cannabis. He appeared at Croydon Magistrates' Court on November 9 and guilty to possessing a Class B drug and breaking the conditions for sex offender registration. On Tuesday, November 28, James Bodenham was due to be sentenced at Inner London Crown Court. But according to an HMP Thameside officer, he was unable to appear in court because he had "ingested a suspected drug parcel." Mid-December is the new date for the sentence. #Croydon #JamesBodenham #london
