The point here isn't about turning the phone or keeping it upright, it's about stability. Usually due to the build of mobile phones, when the phone is turned upside down, u get better stability. Bottom line, if you can attain good stability by holding the phone upright, then by all means don't turn it upside down.

How does turning your phone upside down make you a pro? Apple never advertised it that way; I believe they never mentioned that to you. You can still get very good camera shots while holding your phone upright.

I’m a professional mobile videographer but I don’t buy your idea of how turned the camera down as you are filming. You might be proving a point but it’s a mistake too cuz you might get a swing object when captured
