I think that is a wrong information. It is because: 1. If we started counting since creation, our calendar (Julian) will have more years than Gregorian calendar. This is based on your logic. 2. We don't only have a difference on counting year, our months are different too. e.g. New Year and Christmas I am not trying to criticize you but to advise you to double check your resource.
