@pleasure_as_praxis: All things emanate from the structure that stores all memory, behavioral blueprints, beliefs and unprocessed emotions, so it’s no wonder that after dealing with my autoimmune condition (dermatomysotis) I dealt with BPD symptoms. The thing is, it didn’t scare me because I had already unraveled the auto immune and understood there would be deeper and more subtle work along the path, I was already surrendered to that which made it easier. But I know what it feels like to just split, to snap, to become someone you don’t even recognize, to have allll these coping mechanisms and not even realize them for what they are: implicit memory stored in the body. No, I was not formally diagnosed, but having a mother with BPD I was very certain that I was exhibiting all of the classic symptoms and that seeing a doctor would only lead to lifelong psychiatric drugs, which I knew I would refuse. I had one choice: heal it yourself.

I’m in nursing school we had a guest speaker & he walked us through how he reversed his schizophrenia, truly fascinating! It’s a total life change & a lot of work but I believe it can be done

Bipolar disorder does not equal BPD. BPD stands for borderline personality disorder. Just in case people mix up the two. BPD is totally treatable though with DBT

this is so very interesting and encouraging 🙏🏾 just an aside to avoid listeners becoming confused: bipolar disorder is commonly abbreviated as BD rather than BPD which refers largely to borderline personality disorder (now called EUPD)

I was diagnosed with bpd as a 19 y/o and was told by my psychiatrist my case would be treatable if i did the work and changed my environment. I had a similar journey to yours and i really appreciate your vulnerability - bpd can feel so condemning and shameful. Proud of you! Been following you for a while now and ur teachings on shame and pleasure have honestly changed my life and inspired so much of my creative work in the past year. Thank you.

You expressed exactly what I’m feeling. No one is going deeper with you than yourself! I’m using the same principle to reverse pmos and just generally better my health

Wait bipolar and bpd are 2 different things. I know I’ve heard bpd can be in “remission” but to my understanding bipolar is the genetic one so you can’t help that you get it and there’s treatment but no cure.

"Most people" what do you mean? So us people.. want to live with a trauma so deep it changed our brain chemicals? We went a pill to get through life? Just to function like normal people?

I honestly think most things can be! (Even though it’s so stigmatized to say that). I reversed severe pelvic pain (endo), CPTSD, Lyme disease, and several autoimmune conditions by doing feminine embodiment and working with my nervous system.
