It's disheartening/discouraging to be taught our whole lives to go to college, and earn a degree in order to get a good job and make a living, to only struggle to get into an entry level job after finishing said education. So much has changed, and some is for worse.

I had to do this ! I had a useless degree right after the Great Recession, worked at a grocery store for 5 years , I absolutely loved it, best coworkers ever to this day. I finally got an entry level hr job and worked my way up- I actually think my success today is because of the hard work I put in and learned from retail, it taught me grit and resilience. you got this !
