My boss tells us to take 30 unpaid breaks but physically we are unable to and don’t get asked to go on them so she just inputs them on our time cards regardless “so we don’t hit Over Time”🤪

in Texas, if you are considered "salary" can they dock your hours if you don't hit the 40, yet not pay you overtime when you work over 40? (I am speaking if it happens occasionally that you don't work the 40.)

How about I was supposed to be making 16 after I got out of training which was in march… I trusted that was what would happen bc they did it for everyone else so why would I check… fast forward to this last week I had needed a check stub for something so I went to print it out and I realized that I was still only getting 15. I brought it up to my gm and she said she would figure it out and fix it…. I had an interview scheduled on Friday with a company that has better pay and benefits which they knew about. I get out of my interview and have a missed call from my gm so I call her and she tells me that our dm is willing to give me 16 if I stay 😳😳 I’m not staying but I do have a contract that they signed saying my pay would increase to 16 when I got out of training.

What if your scheduled 12 hrs a day and you want to 10 hrs go to dr appointment and they take 2 hrs of your vacation pay and vacation time for last 2 hrs of your day ??

What about employees being paid for 40 hours a week but being expected to work 10 hour days, 5 days a week? So 50 hours but getting paid for 40 “becuase that’s just how this industry works”………
