When I didn’t have air conditioning I filled an empty milk carton with water and froze it. Then wrapped it in a towel and slept with it like a water bottle.

Spent two weeks in Annecy in the south of France in July. My mother took out a huge loan at the time for this fancy spot. The rooms were like saunas I’ve never been as over heated in my life. Europe these heat waves aren’t going away. AC please,

Yes!! The wet towel is what I would give the kids after my divorce and we lived in an apartment without ac. That’s all you can do :(

I can't stand heat. In my country has been hot my entire life. We do have ACs, however I get in a summer lethargy. But I am horrible when I am hot - I get aggressive and brainless

Treating them like the invisible man does work, though. I was at a bus station in Toronto waiting for the 2am bus and this man sat next to me and complemented my shoes, which I did say thanks for. I was clearly watching videos on my phone and he took my thank you as an open invite to endlessly yap. I never looked back up or acknowledged him and he just moved on to yap at someone else. They want so much attention. 🙄
