Cartman isn't mature enough to know that he truly likes someone and Wendy can't accept the possibility that she actually like Cartman. They definitely are end game tho. When you said she always fights for what's right that reminded me of Kyle and maybe that's why Stan likes her because he's really in love with Kyle.

I think it would be cool if they had a super hero theme episode again where Wendy wants to start her own team consistenting of the other sp girls. Maybe have a commentary on how women are treated in these comic and Manga spaces, and tropes that a lot of female characters are subjected to. There's a lot you could do with Wendy and the girls.
