@onlinewithallie: Hot take: traditional UGC and tech UGC are both valid. I’ve seen a lot of creators say tech UGC is a waste of time, underpaid, or “not real UGC.” But the reality is that different opportunities work for different people. Tech UGC helped me gain experience, build my portfolio, learn performance marketing, and honestly earn some of the most money I’ve made in UGC. Was it always easy? No. Was it a lot of work? Absolutely. But so is running a business. At the end of the day, I think creators should stop worrying so much about whether someone else’s path is “right” and focus more on whether it’s helping them reach their own goals.
