Let me summarise this book to my best of understanding based on the themes of friendship and loyalty, survival and resilience, long term effects of trauma, hope in darkness maybe, love , loss and redemption๐ฅฐThe story follows Joseph "Patch" , a one eyed boy growing up in rural. When he intervenes to save a girl from an attacker, he is kidnapped, setting off a decades long story involving missing children, trauma, friendship, obsession, love and the search for truth. His closest friend, Saint, refuses to give up on him, and their lives become intertwined for years afterward. I recommend this book because it has Deeply developed characters with unexpected twists and a powerful ending. congratulations Karolโค๏ธ
