@belovedcabin: What 14 Years Later Looks Like… 14 years ago, we were living in an old camper, hauling water, bathing with a bucket, and dreaming about a different life. We started with a small solar panel, a tiny rainwater collection system, and a rent-to-own shed. There were plenty of times we had to hit pause because the money ran out. Some projects took months. Others took years. But we kept going. Today, that little shed is our home. We’ve bought our own land, expanded our solar and rainwater systems, added a greenhouse kitchen and bathroom, and turned our homestead into a small animal sanctuary. This didn’t happen because we had a lot of money. It happened because we kept showing up, even when progress was slow.
