I use Biolit, which is equivalent to Raid in my country. I just spray it around the plants (not directly on the leaves or so!) to make like a mist around them. Thrips are gone. I repeat after a week to be sure. BUT beneficial insects are better and healthier. But if you don'z have them and need something fast, Raid will work. Just be careful not to spray too much of it and not directly on the leaves.

i’ve been using beneficial bugs for about 4 years. depending on what your fighting you will need to get fresh bugs every few months like Nematodes, rove beetles or spider mite preventative. they are amazing, safe for pets and it’s hang it and let it do its thing but they need upkeep.

Thank you! you're the first person to have actual solutions to thrips🥰 I've asked so many planties including the local greenhouse and nobody could give me a good fix. I hope I can order all these things in canada 😬

I’ve had this Chinese evergreen for about a month and it had these spots when I bought it but I didn’t see any bugs I didn’t know they could be microscopic😭 and it grew 2 new leaves that look kinda funky I was wondering why does it have thrips??
