Another good thing to make sure first time moms know that is if it feels like you’re having contractions while the baby is nursing that means your body is releasing a hormone called oxytocin. This hormone triggers muscle contractions in your uterus to shrink it back to its original size 🥰 I wish I would’ve known that before I had my first.
