@nerkesharogers: One of my favourite homemaking habits lately has been making fresh bread. This no-knead loaf is so simple and the house smells incredible while it’s baking. Easy No-Knead Bread • 3 cups bread flour • 1½ cups warm water • 2 tsp fine sea salt • ½ tsp instant yeast Whisk together the flour, salt and yeast. Add the warm water and mix with a spoon until a sticky dough forms. Cover and leave to rise for 3–4 hours. Flour a work surface and shape the dough into a ball. Line a bowl with baking paper, place the dough inside and cover with a tea towel. Leave to rest for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat your oven to 230°C with a lidded casserole dish or Dutch oven inside to heat up. Just before baking, score the top of the dough with a bread scorer. Carefully lift the dough using the baking paper and place it into the hot pot. Bake with the lid on for 30 minutes, then remove the lid and bake for a further 10–15 minutes until golden brown. Leave to cool on a wire rack before slicing. Save this for the next time you fancy homemade bread 🤍 . . . . . #housewifelife #easyhomemadebread #slowlivinguk #homemakeruk #nokneadbread
