@joepotenza4: This post got a lot of heat. People making videos about it. Tons of comments saying $2.5M isn’t enough money. People saying they’d need way more to feel free. So I’m curious, what do y’all think? Is $2.5M the start of financial freedom? To be clear, I never said $2.5M makes you “FU rich.” That wasn’t the point of the original video. The point was this: If you had $2.5M invested and could reasonably pull around $125,000 a year (after tax) without working, that is a level of freedom most people will never experience. And the part I didn’t say in this video is this: When you can build a company from a place of freedom instead of survival, you become a way better entrepreneur. You stop making emotional decisions. You stop needing every deal to work. You stop building from fear. And you start building because you actually love the game. Which can only be done once you have the freedom to choose to keep playing (ie a financial base) Also, I think us business “influencers”, myself included can mix a little humility around this conversation. $125,000 a year is almost 2x the average American salary, and that would be money you make without having to work. I see alot of people commenting on my video who I highly doubt have $1MM liquid let alone $2.5MM sitting in treasuries or ETFS, so be careful reading these comments. Now imagine having that baseline and still continuing to build. That is a massive advantage. Just because some people make way more money doesn’t mean $2.5M isn’t meaningful. But ill stand on my statement that is the first point of “freedom” Comment your opinion #entrepreneur #entrepreneurship #millionaire #wealthbuilding
