I killed him, i hate seeing “then you missed the point of the game” when it’s up to the players interpretation on what is the right choice. Jin doesn’t have honour anymore he left it behind and it died but for Shimura honour is still the only way to live and jin killing him doesn’t somehow mean jin went back on his own oath or story to me; it’s that he has such a love and compassion for his uncle that he couldn’t deny him the death that his uncle would have wanted, he didn’t kill him for honour he killed him out of love. Thats how i see it

all the people saying killing him is "missing the point of the game" are wrong, jin still has no honour killing shimura simply let's Jin do one final act of honour for his uncle because it's what he wanted and I feel Jin would rather honor his uncle and kill him than let him live in shame that his nephew became the ghost
