I think Berlin is strange as well when I have been there for long periods of time, I get lonely in the city even if I am hanging round with a friend group. Another factor I find people used to not sure if they still do come and go from Berlin a lot.

colleagues can be your friends too. if you connect and spend time beyond the work scene then it's your friend. i find being an adult and having a job is the same as school, you have designated people you have to spend time with daily, some you will connect with and grow a meaningful relationship with them ✨

Some of my best friends I have are my colleagues (not my colleagues anymore as I moved jobs). But as an immigrant who moved here for a job, I made meaningful connections at work as that was easiest to do.
