most jobs are fine w me having tattoos and piercings, but God forbid I want to do a fun peekaboo with my hair. like im sorry but if im hired im doing it anyway, I've never looked at someone w dyed hair at a job and thought "wow im never coming here again"

I feel like if job is or isn’t serious why does it matter if I have colored hair, tattoos, or piercings? It doesn’t change or mess up my quality of my work it affects nothing !

I’m glad my job allows both tattoos and colored hair. I have 7 tats and all employees have more than 5 tattoos. Now I don’t have colored hair but it’s nice that my job allows it!

honestly I worked retail where I had new managers n told me I had to cover my tattoos because it slightly showed, n I got more attention for wearing bandaids n gloves than I did for just doing without. Even when I went to a desk job n they saw my hand tattoos they were like hmm that could be a problem like how? I’m behind a desk?

In my experience, corporate/ office jobs are more laid back with dress & style. It’s usually the most BS whatever jobs that are super strict lol

I worked at a hotel and I asked my boss if they were on a policies on hair dye and she laughed at me and told me that I bring spice to her life and that she's never been asked that before

I work at a car wash and I’ve had to have 2 of piercings taken out and wear a retainer in my eye brow :/ and I also had to dye my hair black (it was purple n green) and I have to wear long sleeves at all times when I’m on the clock so my tattoos aren’t showing 😞 AND THIS IS ALL FOR A CAR WASH
