@foodsfortwo: USA FOOD VLOG: DAY 10🇺🇸🐢🥪 What a New Orleans food day!🤤 Today we went to the famous Jazz Brunch at Commander’s Palace to celebrate our 1-year wedding anniversary🥂 We had Southern comfort food classics like crawfish, grits, and BBQ pork shoulder on buttermilk biscuits, plus a New Orleans delicacy: turtle soup (made from real snapping turtles)🐢 After brunch we checked out the New Orleans bar scene, complete with craft beers from Abita, hurricanes at Pat O’Brien’s, and the famous “purple drank” from Lafitte’s, one of the oldest bars in the US!🍻 We ended the day with pralines (a New Orleans dessert made with pecans and sugar) and an incredible muffaletta and po’boy combo from a tiny deli in the French Quarter🥪 🎺 Jazz Brunch: Commander’s Palace 🍻 Brewery: Abita 💜 Purple Drank: Lafitte’s Blacksmith Shop ❤️ Hurricanes: Pat O’Brien’s 🤎 Pralines: Southern Candymakers 🥪 Sandwiches: Verti Marte See you guys tomorrow as we head to Austin, Texas!🤠 #neworleans #neworleansfood #neworleansrestaurants #usatravel #americanfood
