Resist the Desire to Defend: Kabbalah teaches that our first impulse to defend ourselves or strike back is often fueled by our tikkun (soul correction) and reactive consciousness. Reactivity disconnects us from the Light. Pause. Say "What a Gift" then say this prayer: "This moment is a test from the Creator to expand my vessel. I choose not to react." 2. See the Person as a Messenger: Everything is from the Light of the Creator, even your critics. According to the Zohar, when someone exposes your flaws or speaks negatively, they are often awakening something in your soul correction (tikkun) that needs to be seen or healed. 3. Pray for Their Elevation and Yours: The Ari (Rav Isaac Luria) teaches that when we judge or are judged, it means there is a blockage in unity. Pray now for both souls to ascend to a higher consciousness. Close your eyes and visualize Light surrounding them. You can Say: "Creator, give us both clarity, compassion, and elevation. I release any desire for approval or revenge. I want only Light." This transforms judgment into mercy and cleanses you of past karma and negativity.
