what pisses me off is I want to get into the practice but it's so hard to truly find a beginners anything. everything labeled beginners still assumes you have some knowledge of the practice which has made it feel impossible to even know where to start

the fact that you need an entire cupboard of jars, herbs, candles and can only be done on certain days at certain times... all you need to know and do is have the right intention, you can say what ever you want.. its a spell used by spelling!! key words spelling there!! so dust of Cheetos grab a candle and say what you want!

“You can’t pick your own tarot” is a way to gatekeep practice from people that don’t have someone to give them their first set. I will die on this hill. Not everyone has that luxury to have someone else that they know that can/will gift them.

I use cheap crayons to seal my jars. spices from Dollar Tree when I need them. the idea that you have to go to special shops for your supplies. nah.

I absolutly love this!!! Ive been told lots of stuff by other 'witches' saying if i dont fall in to a label im not a a witch. I firmly believe everything happens for a reason, i picked my own tarot deck because i loved them and i just like to spread joy and kindness. My practices are mine alone and work for me...so thank you for this ❤️

My annoyance is how cards and herbs and colours crystals have to be interpreted for what the text book says and I don’t feel that is correct I think everyone should use their own intuition and that is their magic x

This is going to sound extremely naive but I hate when people try to scare newer witches by saying what they should and shouldn’t try. Witches for centuries have practised by trial and error. If you do something that doesn’t work the way it was intended part of the craft is fixing your mistake and trying again no?
