I was fired for apparently no reason. No one can give me valid reasons why they needed to fire me. I started working here May 11th. I never was given the proper procedures, protocols, onboarding as a new hire. I literally started and worked with Kenzie for a week and then I was on the computer the next week doing titling (the hardest job) while she watched. During this time, another employee was being bullied — Ashley and the manager were gossiping and targeting this employee. Cursing and complaining about her miscounting her credit card numbers (simple mistake). This was all happening when she wasn’t even there & eventually she quit. ever since then I never made it an effort to communicate w/ them unless it was about work. So all of this “my tone and your attitude” is delusional. I keep to myself. I ask questions when needed. I never have been absent. As a dark-skinned Black woman, I cannot ignore how differently I felt treated. Whether people want to acknowledge it or not, bias exists. I know how I showed up every day. I know how I treated people. I know I remained professional. I know I wasn’t given the same grace, communication, or understanding that others received due to my race. I do feel discriminated against. At the end of the day, I know my worth. I know my character. And I know I deserved better than being blindsided, dismissed, and terminated without a clear explanation. The recording speaks for itself. She said the reasons to terminate were because I asked about payroll, I wasn’t excited about agent fees, I asked about heat conditions and water accommodations during the mandatory meeting, I took breaks to use the bathroom every 5 secs if I’m getting 100 agent fees (I helped over 100 ppl). #bully #toxicworkplace #humanity #toxic #bias
