that's not new. i retired in 2020. and since i was 62. and i had to continue to work some to supplement SS. and i had to pay SS back for what i got overpaid. and taxed with my tax return. so remember once you retire, you can't work. or make a certain amt without being punished. so that's not new.

If provisional income 25-34K taxed at 50% of SS pmt. If income >34% taxed UO to 85%.

The federal government taxes ss. They have been. Individual states do. But not all states do

Yes we have already been taxed on the money we contributed to Medicare and social security and they want to tax us again for the same money and we still have to pay Medicare roughly 200 dollars monthly even though we have contributed for the last 30 40 years with every pay check
