@clowmayyy: Some of the most important lessons I wished I learned earlier in my career ⬇️ 1. Don’t just learn how to do your job, learn WHY your job is important to your end-client (internal or external). It shouldn’t have taken me 2 years to figure out how all the pieces in Payments clicked together 2. Don’t be afraid to ask your more financially-literate colleagues for help. Google isn’t always the most straight-forward and you shouldn’t be embarrassed about not knowing 3. Always ask for what you believe you deserve, a ‘no’ is better than nothing and even if it’s a no, you will always learn why and how to make that ‘no’ a ‘yes’ 4. You don’t need to network with the entirety of the bank to succeed. You just need 2-3 really strong sponsors with a lot of influence! #corporategirlie #ragstoriches #careeradvice #careertips
