I lymphatic drain my legs and IT HURTS. If you haven’t had a proper massage yet it’s because fascia and lymph fluid are interlinked… its nerve-sense and when fluid is stagnant you’ll feel some pain depending on how tight it is. I even bruise sometimes 🙃

Lymphatic Drainage should never hurt and is a very light service moving lymphatic fluid to the lymph nodes. You’re simply just getting a fascial with a massage. This is very misleading and can be potentially harmful! Granted, a massage does have some lymphatic drainage component to it but this isn’t it. I will be making a video about this today to better inform and educate!

To anyone watching this, this is not a proper lymphatic drainage massage. So many people are posting lymphatic drainage massages and aren’t actually receiving a legitimate lymphatic drainage massage. This is improper technique, and not what an actual lymphatic drainage massage looks like..

As a lymphatic practitioner and a licensed massage therapist, lymphatic work IS NOT supposed to be painful. As a matter of, if you have a compromised lymphatic system that's creating edema, pressure so deep that creates pain will make it even worse. All i am seeing are general massage techniques. You got ripped off with a trendy buzz word used for marketing.
