you should also file for Social Security Dissability too. its alot of work but it's the only way to get you paid moving forward. you also qualify for SSI.

Contact HR. YOU ARE NOT A BOTHER. You deserve the care and attention you need to meet your immediate health needs. If you have applied for benefits, your application date is what they will go by. Just keep doing your best to supply the documents needed and stay in contact so they know you are trying to get the documents needed. I know it is a pain, but you need healthcare. So sorry you are going through this. Please apply for food assistance and adult financial too (you’ll have to apply for SSA benefits to get cash assistance too)

Don’t be afraid to contact your HR person or the regional manager yourself to expedite the paperwork you need. Some of the paperwork the assistance office requests has deadlines, and I’m not sure how willing/able they are to extend those deadlines.

Girl idk what state you are in but move to nyc you will get medicaid over the phone in minutes!!!!!! And if not medicaid nys health plan! And if not nyc offers free health services including dental and cancer trials

Unfortunately Medicaid documents can be tiring! I emailed the main Medicaid email and marked it urgent and went off on them and asked them to call immediately. Told them I can’t get touch with anyone with Medicaid and that I am in serious need of Medicaid and are out of work. You have to be firm and demand a call. They called me a few days later and approved me. Push push push.
