Interesting lol as black American of Scottish and Irish descent from both parents when I would wear my hair out and let it be curly my Puerto Rican friend and other friends from South American families thought I was Brazilian. I still have one living cousin thats in Barbados right now

My great grandma died at the age of 92 in 2006. Born and raised in Mississippi. She used to say her father was Turkish and had traveled back & fourth when she was a child. We have a picture of him and he looks like what we describe as a Black man today… im wondering in your research if you’ve found that Black ppl also came here from Turkey? I’ve been searching for info on this and haven’t come across anything.
