One of the biggest mistakes I see is travellers booking Phuket for their entire trip because everything looks close on the map. But southern Thailand is much bigger than most people expect. Instead of returning to Phuket after every excursion, consider splitting your stay: Phuket → Phi Phi → Krabi. You’ll spend less time backtracking, avoid repeating the same transfers, and the whole trip will feel much easier.
