Do not book a hotel at U6 south of Sendlinger Tor, the replacement busses are a nightmare on my way to work and back, can't imagine during a concert..

I agree. Hotels south of Sendlinger Tor on the U6 can be stressful this summer. The east or west side of Munich may be easier, even with a transfer. Thanks for sharing real commuter experience.
