I was a bartender for a bout a month or so and they fired me for absolutely no reason and blocked me. I later found out that it was bc the other girls working their thought I was “stealing” regulars which I most certainly wasn’t and was called an idiot by another bartender bc a guy tipped me and not her…. Needless to say it’s an extremely toxic place…

I used to be a Wednesday-Sunday regular and stopped going to EC a little over a year ago because of how it’s run. “Are we children” yes. Unfortunately. And I’m sorry you got the short end of the stick on that :(( I hope you get your compensation honey. 💛

The photos belong to you. If no consideration (money) was received, they have no rights to use them. I would send them a cease and desist immediately along with filing a claim for payment owed. I am not a lawyer, but had this happen to someone I know. Good luck to you and your business.

the fact that I drove 3 hours to come to ec after over a year and seeing none of the people here because of this really upset me. they've gone so far down hill and it was noticeable in the first 5 minutes. I hope they make things right

I’ve been going to ec since I was 18 and used to love it but about 1-2 years ago it started declining. I’m so sorry this happened to you Billy is a child at the end of the day and now it will never be the same all of us have been saying ec is going down hill fast

This kind of behavior is why half of their staff has left or was fired without being given cause. Owner is a child, this dance spot used to be in the center of the Dallas dance scene for years prior to him starting to behave in this manner.

omg why am i just now seeing this? update on ec for you... i went last thursday and it was DEADDDDD. i had a conversation with the new owner i think and he was complaining ab how dead it was and asked what he could do to get more people in there. wish i saw this so i coulda said to pay the employees 😭 its so heartwarming to see the community back you up on this i mean i didnt see ONE regular there. ill be moving onto mavericks now as well ❤️

Used to work at EC, can confirm there’s NO MONEY within that company. Fortunately I don’t see them being open for much longer given that red river and mavericks dance hall are still popping off!
