@thecorporatescapee: Are you over the corporate burnout and ready for a career change but you don't know how to get out of corporate? That was me until I lost my corporate career when I moved and was looking for a better way. So l invested in an education that taught me how to create multiple simple income streams and now I work for myself and help others who are done with corporate too. Comment 'HOW' to learn more. #corporate #corporateburnout #careerchange #portfoliocareer #midlifereinvention
My husband was laid off from a stressful management role at a major company everyone knows at the age of 55 two months ago. We’re drastically downsizing and he’s looking for a regular hourly job. People say he’s moving backwards and we disagree. People don’t realize that the jobs and salary they yearn to have come with ALOT of stress, hours and a crazy amount of bureaucracy. They also greatly affect your health long term and he had a heart attack last year. Both of us worked cash registers, loaded cars, waited tables and such going to school and until our careers took off. We miss those days and we’re looking forward to going back to a simpler life. As we’re currently selling and donating the items in our home, we realize that we only use 10% of what we have and 75% of the money we made went to useless material things. We have saved for retirement but we will piddle with smaller jobs until it’s time.
