@shilohfarm: 3 tips to help your garden 🥦🍅🥕 🥦 Don’t fertilize your broccoli before harvesting. It causes more leaf growth and a smaller head. When you do harvest, don’t take out the whole plant. Many varieties will produce side shoots you can harvest all season long. 🍅 Even though tomatoes are self pollinating, in calm areas or greenhouses a little extra pollen action won’t hurt! Use a toothbrush or your hands to gently shake pollen in the afternoons when the flowers are open to help your chances of a bigger yield. 👀🔍 Observe your garden at least once a week throughout varying points of the day. Some pests are more active and only reveal themselves during certain times and you don’t want to miss them. Early prevention to pests is key to success!
