Can I get an opinion on this please: my kid’s dad and his wife didn’t end up working out. (Their step mom) and she didn’t tell them anything, not a word. Just left. She was apart of their daily pick ups and would hangout with them, and now my daughter wants to ask for her but her dad shuts her down… I talked to them but I just thought that was messed up of their part.

A child should know details of the relationship. As a child that grew up with a step dad that constantly cheated on my mom. I'm glad I knew. He wasn't my father. He was a man, my mother loved unconditionally. I know why my mother broke, I am glad to be able to understand why. Why we lost the house, friends. Even though I had to grow up fast, I learned even our parents are going through life once. It's in my hands to make my life better.

Number 2. Legit the BM called and asked the girls what that day was over and over then got attitude and offended with the girls when they didn’t remember her birthday. You only talk to them once a month!! They can not remember to feed the lizard that lives in their room. I hope she had the day she deserved!

So real. My bonus daughter was 6-7yo hearing that her mom had to break up w her younger brother's dad bc "he doesn't like you" & at 9 she was telling me that she couldn't travel w us anymore or stay the night at our house (we lived 2 blocks away) bc it would make her mom sad. Who tf does that to a child??
