🚨🚨🚨 Just because a perfume smells like heliotrope doesn't mean it actually contains Piperonal! Many reformulated fragrances swapped it out. The only way to know for sure is to check the INCI ingredients list on the box.

Are you sure about the heliotrope? I called Guerlain in Canada and they told me they have not heard any mention of reformulation for cuir beluga

Hi!!! ✌️First time finding your page now following, I’ve hardly seen any of the major people on the TikTok frag space talking about this mainly those who are on the perfumer side of it, it’s basically from my understanding a mass change in regulations relating to allergens in fragrance ingredients, I’m extremely sad as almond and cherry are my favourite notes, thanks for the heads up as well as the informative information you are putting out ❤️

I panicked after watching this video and placed a huge order, but I ended up requesting a cancellation. I realized the perfume I ordered doesn't even contain the ingredient that's about to be restricted : piperonal = heliotropine

💡 Just a reminder: having a heliotrope note in a fragrance pyramid doesn't mean it actually contains piperonal (heliotropin). Perfumers can recreate the scent of heliotrope using completely different aroma chemicals! [Cœur rouge]

🚨🚨🚨. Don't panic! Almond (benzaldehyde) isn't being reformulated, it’s just a label update for allergens under EU regulation 2023/1545.

🚨🚨🚨 As for heliotropin, the SCCS cap is 1.8%, which already covers almost all powdery scents. No need for panic buying or hoarding bottles!
