I'm Muslim, and I completely understand your concerns. I believe people should build on what Canadians have achieved instead of trying to bring the culture of the place they left behind into their new home. I think the government should require newcomers to attend mandatory integration courses that teach Canadian culture, values, laws, and civic responsibilities. I also believe that only the Canadian flag should be displayed in public government spaces. Freedom of religion and belief should be protected, but I believe the government should stop issuing permits for new religious institutions. In addition, employers should be required to hire Canadians fairly, without discrimination. Canada first. Canada second. Canada always.
