I’m basically a “screen free,” Grandma. Yesterday, when I had them,(7 1/2 & 12 yrs) we did science experiments. I’ve always been a crafter with my own kids, now them. My younger grandson is still into crafts but, I really think my older grandson is going to like this one!👍🏻

Funny how we suddenly get sentimental about our kids when they were little! I noticed a tiny handprint on a wall that you can only see when the sunlight hits it just right. I’ll never clean it

Ok, this is the “screen free,” GRANDMA, reporting back. Did this with my 7-1/2 & 12 yr old grandsons. Even my older one had fun doing this! After it dried, tapped gently, to get anymore salt off of it. Then, I securely wrapped it Saran Wrap, folding edges & taping them to the back. Yes, more salt came off but, they were able to take it home & show off our latest craft at Grandma’s ! 🥰 We also started growing crystals that day, with a science kit I had. The crystals started growing after 2 days of sitting ! Can’t wait till day 7, when they should be done ! 👍
