Position your car opposite side of the bay * Drive slowly and stay about a car’s width away from the row of bays. * Move slightly away from the bay to create a wider turning angle. 3. Check all around * Mirrors, blind spots, pedestrians, and other vehicles. Observation is essential. 4. Start the turn * When your door mirror or shoulder is roughly level with the first line of the bay, turn the steering wheel fully toward the bay. (The exact reference point varies by car.) 5. Drive in slowly * Keep your speed very low and continue checking around you. 6. Straighten the wheel * As the car enters the bay, unwind the steering and centre the vehicle between the lines using your mirrors. 7.
