Everybody saying that the Palomar Knot is the strongest.....have you seen the test made to that knot? It is no way near to that 98% strength that was said. It is actually closer to 80% or even 70% depending on the diameter of the line. It is a good and easy knot but not as strong as people think. The Trilene Knot that is shown here is actually stronger. There is a modification to the Trilene Knot that is called Toit Knot that is even stronger but until a certain point. Beyond 100lb it is actually better to stay with simple knots as the Uni Knot with only 3 wraps.
